Our trip to Switzerland started on a bad note: we lost our baggage. From there, some representatives working for the SBB were not very friendly, actually not friendly at all. So, frustrated, we walked into the hotel. Elia greeted us and made us so welcome, that I forgot all our troubles. His smile and service totally surprised me. He did note that the country being reliant on tourism would benefit from a better customer service than we had received, rather than the one we got from SBB. The rooms were so clean and welcoming, I had the best night's sleep there. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. With so much variety to choose from when it came to breads (I did try them all), and the cheeses (also tried them all :)) and other things to sample, I was glad I came down for it. I thought I lucked out with only Elias being so nice, but the next day's person working at the reception (did not write his name) was also super nice and helpful. He held out luggage for us to walk around the town. Excellent service, excellent hotel and staff. Really enjoyed out stay.

Great location on the edge of the pedestrianised town centre and within a stone’s throw of the station, so perfect for those touring Switzerland by rail, like us, but seemingly with plenty of parking available for anyone with a car. Comfortable bed and different pillow types are available if booked in advance with the hotel direct. Excellent lighting (at least in Room 506 - a superior twin). Quality breakfast with plenty of choice. Helpful reception staff.

A friendly welcome with great facilities and the best shower I have ever had! Room had everything you needed with lovely comfy bed and a choice of pillows and even toilet paper upon booking. When arriving we were given a map of the town which proved to be really helpful. A great place to stay and super close to the train station for anyone going on the Bernina Express. The town itself is picturesque and going up in the chair lifts to the Alps is highly recommended. Breakfast was really nice, fresh and tasty and staff were really helpful at all times

Breakfast was great- lots of choices- not the best we had in 3.5 weeks of travel in Switzerland. Room was adequate but small but that's the way of Europe. At least we had a/c and individual control so we could keep our window closed. I liked having a refrig in our room. Proximity to the train was excellent. We stayed in Chur solely to hop on the Bernina express and go both ways in one day and then get on the glacier express to brig the next day.

Great location, great staff service, every staff seems to speak good english and well trained/professional. Breakfast is delicious too. Beddings are all comfortable. Toiletries are all well stocked. Slippers are provided upon request. Room is a good size and all new. Comes with coffee machine too. I was alerted it may be noisy from the street but it didnt bother me since after 10pm, all seems quiet. Did not hear transport sounds. Only a few chats from the streets passersby but nothing to be bothered about.

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the railway station in Chur and well-located to visit the town's shops and attractions. Service was first-class, particularly at reception (very helpful) and at breakfast where the staff catered particularly well to dietary needs. The breakfast itself was superb with a wide range of hot and cold food. Our room was not enormous. but certainly adequate, and the hotel offers a pre-arrival system in which personal preferences (eg pillows) can be specified.

It is the first time an hotel asked me in advance what kind of pillows and even toilet paper I wanted. Everything is customized to the guest, even the private secure WiFi (with a unique password). Huge room. Comfy bed. There was even a private balcony. Buffet breakfast had the most choices of all the hotels I went to. Perfect location, you leave the train station and it's right there.

The room and bathroom was immaculate, sparkling clean and very stylish with a relaxing shower. The bed was very comfy. The personal webpage was a nice touch where I could choose different options for a more personal experience. As we were leaving on the Bernina Express the next morning, the location of the hotel being a few metres from the train station made it perfect too. There were lots of choice and nice food at the breakfast buffet. And Chur itself is a lovely town to explore.

The hotel is in a perfect location for anyone travelling by train. It is very easy to find and the staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, with excellent storage and the right amount of furniture. The bed was comfortable and we liked the fact that the windows opened do we had fresh air overnight. The bathroom was the best appointed of all we experienced in a month of travelling. The breakfast offered a good choice and was nicely presented.
